Local payment methods, one integration.
Alternative payment methods (APMs) are the non-card ways people pay: bank redirects, wallets and local schemes such as iDEAL and Bancontact. GetIbans adds them behind the same integration as cards and IBANs, so entering a new market does not mean a new contract and a new codebase.

FAQ
Questions
What counts as an alternative payment method?
Anything other than a card payment: bank-based methods like iDEAL or Bancontact, digital wallets, and local schemes specific to a country.
Which methods are available?
The list depends on the markets and currencies you sell in. We confirm which are live for you during onboarding.
Do APMs support refunds?
Many do. Where a method supports refunds, you can issue them through the API; where it does not, we say so in the integration guide.
